Privacy Policy
Purpose and access
Real Somehow YouTube Automation is a private, owner-operated system for managing the Real, Somehow YouTube channel. It is not offered as a public multi-user service. Google and YouTube access occurs only after the channel owner explicitly authorizes the application through Google OAuth.
Google and YouTube data
Depending on the OAuth permissions granted by the owner, the application may access:
- YouTube channel and account metadata
- Video metadata
- YouTube Analytics data
- Authorized video-upload operations
OAuth credentials are used only for the authorized owner's YouTube channel. Access and refresh tokens are stored securely in the owner's local automation environment and are never published.
How information is used
Channel information is used only for channel operations, analytics, system reliability, and content-performance improvement. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or sold or transferred to data brokers.
Local operational records may retain video identifiers, video metadata, analytics snapshots, production job state, and audit state. These records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for operation, analytics, reliability, and auditing.
Revoking access
The owner may revoke the application's authorization through Google Account permissions. Once authorization is revoked and the credentials become invalid, future Google API access stops. Local records may be removed according to operational and legal requirements.
